Stepanavan hosted the Pan-Armenian Barbecue Festival for the first time. Chefs from different regions of the republic offer a wide range of barbecue in 45 pavilions, competing in several categories at once. According to the organizers, the festival has long been not only a culinary competition, but also an important tourist and economic event for the community. Guests who come to Stepanavan are surprised by the interesting combinations of barbecue and the unique handwriting of the chefs. Participants are evaluated not only for taste, but also for cooking techniques, creative approach and presentation. Many of the festival visitors, after the warm hospitality and barbecue tasting, continue the festive day with a visit to the picturesque places of Stepanavan to discover the magnificent nature and rich culture of Lori.
