Armenian production and research potential at the Eurosatory-2026 exhibition in Paris.

Eurosatory, which has been held for six decades, has brought together 2,300 companies from 66 countries this year. 18 companies from the Armenian military-industrial sector presented their products in Paris. At Eurosatory 2026, Armenian products became visible and accessible. Over the past two years, the Armenian pavilion and the Armenian military industry have made tremendous progress. New proposals for cooperation were not long in coming. Both established countries and private companies are expressing interest in forming partnerships with Armenia and Armenian military-industrial companies.

In the Republic of Armenia, 25,000 historical and cultural structures have the status of monuments.

All objects that have received the status of monuments, newly discovered objects, as well as objects included in the state lists are protected by the state. The issue of granting the status of historical and cultural monuments to nine newly discovered structures was discussed at the first session of the expert committee this year. Immediately after receiving the status of newly discovered monuments, communities and community leaders are also informed about them so that the monuments can be preserved as properly as possible. In 2025, by government decision, 710 objects were included in the state list. Together with the last nine, at the moment 25,000 historical and cultural structures have the status of monuments.

The state is expanding the cattle breeding development program.

In order to promote the development of pedigree cattle breeding, the state has revised the terms of the support program, making them more profitable for farmers. Under the cattle breeding development program for 2025-29, the amount of compensation provided for the purchase of high-yielding cows has been increased from 30 to 50%. Lending conditions have also been improved. If previously the farmer paid 2 to 3% of the loan interest rate, now he is completely exempted from interest, repaying only the principal amount. The intensive cattle breeding development program can be used by businesses from all regions of the republic. The festival has been organized since 2011 in the territory of various historical and cultural monuments, this is done specifically to popularize the tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Charles Aznavour's 102nd Birthday Concert in Los Angeles.

Radio was first broadcast in Armenia in 1926. The competition is an opportunity to introduce Armenia’s 6,000-year-old winemaking heritage and diverse terroirs to the guests. The event was organized by the Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation of Armenia with the support of the Ministry of Economy. This prestigious competition will contribute not only to raising the profile of Armenian wine, but also to discovering the country’s wine tourism potential.

Three Armenian companies, two different countries exported weapons during the month of May. Domestic manufacturers, military industrialists, have generated Armenian engineering thought in recent years and turned it into a final product and exported it from Armenia. Tires, batteries, electrical appliances, plastic bottles are the worst enemies of nature. They end up as waste, for example, in rivers and lakes, destroying the ecosystem. If the bill is adopted, the manufacturer or importer will be obliged to pay a small, but significant amount. Initially, the law will apply to those entrepreneurs whose product waste is more harmful. These small amounts can already change the entire economy.

Some Armenian small and medium-sized businesses may soon export goods to Sweden and Denmark.

Armenia to Host Classical Eurovision on June 6․

The Classical Eurovision Song Contest will be held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet and will feature 11 countries. Armenia will be represented by flutist Elen Virabyan.
