Radio was first broadcast in Armenia in 1926. It began with a 25-minute test broadcast. 100 years later, radio is still loved, has a large audience, and has something to say in this new era, because in reality, speech never ceases to have meaning. Armenian radio presents a diverse selection of programs every hour, including cultural, educational, children's, and news programs. On the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the founding of Armenian Radio, a series of festive concerts will begin in four regions of Armenia in June, aiming to make the sound of radio accessible to every citizen.
