Immigration contributes to Armenia's economic activity.

The UN has revised the framework approaches, defining not only migration, but also migration and mobility statistics. The migration balance in 2025 is the difference between the number of people leaving and arriving from Armenia for migration purposes, calculated using international methodology, and is 14,300. The population has increased by this amount, but taking into account the entry of displaced people from Karabakh into Armenia in recent years, in 2023 and 2024 we had an unprecedented increase in the population. In 2023, the migration balance is 41,400 - the difference between arrivals and departures, and in 2024 it is 76,900. All this gives positive signals to the economy, because when people come to Armenia, and it doesn't matter for what purpose they come, whether they come as tourists or migrants, they also bring economic activity with them, increase consumption, and create employment. The improvement in the economic situation in Armenia is leading to an increase in jobs, and people are already starting to prefer to return to Armenia and live and work here.
