Armenian production and research potential at the Eurosatory-2026 exhibition in Paris.
As of January, Armenian banks have provided agricultural loans worth 411 billion 489 million drams. This is about 65 billion or 18.8% 8% more than the indicator of the same month in 2025, and since January 2018, the volume of agricultural loans has increased by about 184%. The Ministry of Economy attributes this to about a dozen state support programs. Under the intensive gardening program, the loan is provided for a period of eight years, of which the economic entity does not pay the principal for the first five years until the garden enters the production phase. In the case of greenhouse farms, preferential terms also apply. All state programs are aimed at increasing the productivity of the agricultural sector. In the last seven years, 85 hectares of greenhouses have been established using modern technologies, and the process of establishing 64 hectares has also started. Bright days await Armenian agriculture.
