The start of the construction of the longest Kajaran tunnel in Armenia, with the participation of the Vice President of Iran, is signaled by smoke in the colors of the flags of Armenia and Iran. After the construction of the Kajaran tunnel, most of the southern section, which is considered a priority for the north-south, will be put into operation. The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development will allocate $ 200 million in loan funds for the construction of the tunnel, and about $ 195 million will be allocated by the Republic of Armenia. Before the start of the construction of this bridge, high-ranking officials of Iran and Armenia got acquainted with the works already underway. The same work is also being carried out on the Iranian side, so that the two road sections can be connected. Having a common history, the two countries will be able to build a good future for the future generations of both countries. It is assumed that by 2032 the tunnel will be ready for operation and traffic will be transferred through the tunnel. The lives of the people of Syunik have changed thanks to the construction: business interest in the area has begun to grow, and many residents of neighboring settlements are involved in the construction process itself.
