European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is visiting Armenia for the second time in the last two months. A bilateral meeting was held with the host of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The Prime Minister expresses gratitude for the support provided during this period. The level of trust in the Armenia-European Union cooperation and partnership is increasing among the public. Ursula von der Leyen also notes that her visits to Armenia confirm the strength of friendship and partnership. The European Union will open the door for Armenian products to the European Union's 450 million consumer market. 200 million euros have been allocated for investment purposes, which could reach up to 2 billion euros. Ursula von der Leyen announced the allocation of an additional 18 million euros to Armenia, which aims to strengthen the country's trade capabilities and diversify export markets, which is the final part of the 52 million euro aid package. This funding could help establish an export promotion agency to boost export capabilities for Armenian businesses.
