Applications for repatriation have increased.

The Repatriation and Integration Center reports that calls and applications from Armenians of Russian origin regarding their return to Armenia have increased. In May-June of this year, about 500 compatriots applied to the center with various issues, 75% of whom were from Russia. Currently, economic sanctions caused by the conflict, i.e. restrictions on economic activity, as well as challenges in the security, social, educational and other fields, contribute to our compatriots paying more and more attention to the issues of moving to Armenia. The Russian Federation is almost half of our entire Diaspora with different regions of residence and the geography is quite wide. Our compatriots, who are especially in conflict zones, need assistance with moving. Such assistance has been provided to compatriots coming from Lebanon, Syria and Russia. When abroad, the shortest way is to apply to the diplomatic missions of Armenia or contact the Diaspora office.
