The Golden Apricot Film Week has kicked off in Yerevan for the 23rd time, when original and high-quality cinema, the presence of great filmmaking masters and a festive cinema atmosphere come together in various creative platforms of the capital. This year, the film festival has received more than 600 applications for competition programs, but 90 films from 40 countries of the world are being presented for the audience’s evaluation. As always, there is no shortage of famous names, titled filmmakers and guests of honor at the Golden Apricot. About 200 international guests have visited Armenia, as always artists who enjoy the highest reputation and prestige.
