After more than two decades, Argentine-Armenian artist Silvina Der-Mkrtichian presents her first solo exhibition in Armenia titled “A Longing Look to the Future.” Longing, memory, and faith in the future have come together in one exhibition. The author addresses the themes of war, loss, and identity through the language of art. According to the artist, as long as a person is able to maintain love, care, and the desire to create, even the most difficult times cannot take away faith in the future.
