From August 10 to 11, everyone is invited to Sisian to participate in the jubilee fifth “Navasard” Armenian-Iranian cultural culinary festival and discover the culture, national cuisine and hospitality of Armenia and Iran. Demonstrations and tastings of the national cuisines of Armenia and Iran, performances, Armenian and Iranian dance ensembles with the participation of national musical groups, exhibition sales, tourism and gastronomic performances, as well as pavilions of local producers and interactive programs are expected. This year, the Peace Cup international culinary competition is being organized within the framework of the festival. The festival aims to strengthen Armenian-Iranian friendship, as well as contribute to the development of Syunik’s tourism potential.
