In honor of the Blessing of the Grapes celebrated this Sunday, a festival has been organized in the Aghavnadzor settlement of Vayots Dzor. Everyone is invited, including the country's tourist guests, presenting their agenda for the holiday. At 4:00 PM, the grape harvest and the blessing of the first harvest will begin, after which there will be national songs, music, dancing, there will be a dance, traditional dishes will be presented, the winemaking of the Aghavnadzor and Areni communities will be presented, winemakers and honey growers will be present. This year, the village is organizing a festival-scale grape blessing for the third time. The organizers have made sure that before the actual start of the Transfiguration holiday, tourist companies will take groups going to Yerevan to visit the area's sights and wine cellars, take them for tastings, and introduce them to the local, little-known places and customs.
