On August 8, the region’s largest artificial intelligence factory officially opened near Hrazdan. This megaproject by Firebird AI brought together high-ranking officials, global tech giants, ambassadors, and international investors under one roof, signaling Armenia’s transformation into a global strategic hub for artificial intelligence computing power. In the first phase of the megaproject alone, the center is operating about 6,000 graphics processors and investments have already exceeded half a billion dollars. And by the end of 2027, it is planned to deploy more than 70,000 NVIDIA Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips. The infrastructure capacity will soon reach 300 megawatts, placing this center being created in Armenia among the largest in Europe and the most significant artificial intelligence computing platforms in the world.
