“Noah’s Land” at the Shanxi Museum.

The employees of the Shanxi Provincial Museum opened the next exhibition brought from Armenia with a parade of our national costumes. From clothes worn by Armenian women in ancient times to silver belts and headdresses, household items, embroidered items, carpets. All of them are from the collection of the Yerevan History Museum. 136 historical specimens have been presented for a long-term exhibition in China. The historical materials are so spectacular that everyone, young and old, is in a hurry to come and get acquainted with the exhibition brought from Noah’s Land. After Shanxi, the exhibition will be moved on October 10 first to Hebei, and then three months later to the third provincial museum in Shandong. Such an opportunity to present three places outside of Armenia in one foreign visit was organized for the Yerevan History Museum by the Armenian-Chinese Partnership Center.
