The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia is once again in Syunik, turning the large-scale project “Philharmonic in the Regions” not just into a regional concert series, but into an important and noble mission, which is joined every year with love and great willingness by one of the most sought-after and leading violinists in the international music world, Sergey Khachatryan. This year, the Syunik concert festival began in Meghri, continued in Kapan, and the finale of the concert series was played in Goris. The brilliant performing art of the Philharmonic and Sergey Khachatryan’s virtuoso interpretations turned it into a musical extravaganza. In addition to the musical enjoyment given to the audience, Eduard Topchyan also considers the educational component of the project to be very important. The three-day concert series featured Bruch's Violin Concerto and Khachaturian's Masquerade for the appreciation of Syunik music lovers.
