The Shnogh River Basin in Lori Province is the subject of a new scientific study.

The research targets the Iron Age burial mounds located in the Teghut mine area - 311 Bronze Age, Medieval and Iron Age tombs excavated there in recent years. As a result of the research, the list of archaeological monuments in the Shnogh River Basin has been expanded. Instead of the previous 13, 54 monuments are now known. Each new discovery is not only a testament to the past, but also an opportunity to put Armenia's historical and cultural heritage on a scientific basis and present it on international platforms.
