This coming weekend, you can taste and purchase honey directly from beekeepers at Yeraz Park. More than 40 beekeepers from across Armenia will showcase their honey and various bee products. Now in its fourth year, the Honey Festival will bring producers and consumers together under one roof for two days. In addition to a wide variety of natural honey, the festival stalls will feature royal jelly, propolis, pollen, beeswax, and other bee products. A dedicated section will display the equipment and supplies necessary for beekeeping. Engaging masterclasses await visitors throughout the day, offering beekeepers the opportunity to present their products. The organizers invite visitors not only to taste and purchase honey and bee products but also to interact with beekeepers, hear their success stories, and learn about the nuances of the trade and daily rural life. The festival is organized by the "Beekeeping Forge" (Meghvabutsutyan Darbnots) educational and research center, with the support of the "Sigma" program—funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and aimed at fostering sustainable and inclusive growth in Armenia's mountainous settlements—and a partner organization.
