Mikael Vardanyan has donated large-scale agricultural machinery and trucks worth 128 million drams to the Tavush region.
Agriculture is one of the sectors with the greatest economic potential for the Tavush region, owing to both its favorable climatic conditions and its advantageous geographical location. Agricultural land in the region spans approximately 112,000 hectares; however, due to various factors, the region's full potential remains untapped. Thanks to this donation supported by benefactor Mikael Vardanyan, the region's fleet of agricultural machinery is being bolstered with new equipment and related implements starting today. The benefactor visited the area to personally hand over the donation to the residents of Tavush and to discuss matters regarding the equipment's future operation on-site. Sixty villages across four consolidated communities in the border region of Tavush will benefit from this donation. This initiative, in turn, will help ensure that residents of Tavush have employment, stand more firmly on their land, and do not consider leaving it. Philanthropist Mikael Vardanyan has provided 128 million drams for the implementation of this strategically important program.
