The 12th "Apricot Tree" International Festival has kicked off in Debed.

It is cinema under the open sky; no tickets, screening halls, or even a roof are needed to watch the films. As darkness falls and the screen lights up, the garden in Debed transforms into a vast open-air cinema. This marks the 12th edition of the "Apricot Tree" International Documentary Film Festival. The competition program features 21 films from 20 countries this year, with an additional 10 films to be screened in the non-competitive program. The festival lineup includes documentaries that have won awards at prestigious international film festivals, as well as works by emerging directors. The festival is organized by the "Filmadaran" NGO with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of Lori.
