For the ninth time, the Yerevan Book Festival saturates the art-loving environment of the center of Yerevan with the magnetic force of literature and books, and offers readers a huge variety and a wide selection of demanded literature at the fair located in the archway of the National Gallery. The difficult path to the creation, establishment and internationalization of the festival has given the author team rich experience. Dozens of writers, publishers, literary agents and critics have arrived in Yerevan from 13 countries around the world. One of the main surprises of the year is the festival novelty - the first-ever Western Armenian poetry competition, to which 23 applications were submitted from eight countries. The main theme of the ninth festival is language as a tool for transmitting the memory and cultural continuity of human civilization, and one of the mottos is the most popular fragment of Hamlet's soliloquy: words, words, words.
