Yannis Kyriakides, a performer of Armenian-Greek origin, is presenting his dozen paintings to art lovers at the Nikolay Nikoghosyan Cultural Foundation’s exhibition hall. The decision and initiative to exhibit at the Nikoghosyan Exhibition Hall in Yerevan is his own and he is glad that it has found a warm response here. The artist titled his first solo exhibition in Yerevan Via domus, the way home, emphasizing the idea of return, which for him is much broader and deeper than just a visit to Armenia. Here, in Yerevan, he realized that the Armenian nuances that often unintentionally appear in his works are not accidental. For just 10 days, from September 2 to 12, art lovers can discover the unusual world of Yannis Kyriakides. The artist’s next exhibition in Yerevan will open at the Yeghishe Charents Museum.
