"Yerevan and Its History": A Major Conference.

The Museum of the History of Yerevan promises to reveal the secrets behind the culinary preferences of the capital's long-time residents over the next three days. The cultural institution is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year by presenting a variety of topics ranging from ethnography, archaeology, and architecture to aspects of daily life. The jubilee events will kick off with an international conference titled "Yerevan City and History." A team of lecturers from the University of Bremen in Germany has prepared a study on the capital's tourism potential and development. Russian experts will discuss issues such as the manhole covers that typically frustrate Yerevan drivers, as well as other topics that have received little attention until now. As part of its outreach program, the Museum of the History of Yerevan has once again sent exhibits to China for display. The third day of the celebration will be marked at the Museum of the History of Yerevan.
